The Allied Technology Team offers in-depth IT experience, proven project and contract performance, experienced personnel, and rapid task response capabilities. Our Team is comprised of several IT companies who are experts in the technology areas of Functional Area 4 and have committed to making ML their vehicle of choice as Allied Technology has. The Allied Technology Team offers the following features to Government agencies interested in using the Millennia Lite Contract vehicle:


Our Team has the needed services available for customers. Five of our Team Members are experts in each of the technical capabilities identified in Functional Area 4. Other Team Members provide niche or specialty services relevant to Functional Area 4. The Allied Technology Team provides depth in all service areas to cover critical transition periods and perform multiple task orders simultaneously.

We maintain IT laboratories where we test new hardware and software in an environment where we can simulate various customer environments. This enables us to determine the potential business impact of a new technology before it is implemented by our customers. Further, the presence of these IT laboratories allows our staff to gain experience with new product offerings by participating in manufacturer Alpha and Beta test programs.

Emerging Technologies Examples

  Allied Technology's operation of the NASA Automated Incident Response Capability (NASIRC) was recognized by the President's commission for Critical Information Infrastructure Protection (PCCIIP) as a model for other Federal agencies.

  CTA is building three "National Network of Internet Solution Factories (ISF)" in San Diego, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; and Bethesda, MD.

  DCC developed a core FedCenter Web-site, the first and largest business-to-government e-commerce application for use by all government agencies - a one-step solution for both government buyers and vendors, receives over a million "hits" a month from 7000 registered users.



Our Team has demonstrated their success in the IT marketplace. Combined, corporate revenues have increased 40.4% since 1996 to $2.75B for 1999. Our Team's sustained growth came from performance and marketing. Marketing allowed us to find and close business, and performance allowed us to cost effectively deliver the business we won. Project performance examples are provided below:

Allied Technology provides Internet / Intranet / Web development in support of the Department of Education offices, its regional offices and Education-Funded Programs.
Allied Technology is also working with the Navy and Coast Guard to maintain their shipboard computer / communications systems.
Compuware provides software development services to NSF.
CTA is supporting the FAA's efforts to reengineer and rebuild its IT infrastructure.
DCC developed an Electronic Commerce Infrastructure (ECI) for DISA to send and receive purchasing and financial information electronically to and from government procurement offices.
GRCI created and maintains the entire enterprise data model (standardized to the DoD Logistic Data Model) for the Army.
IIT Research Institute (IITRI) operates five Information Analysis Centers for the Department of Defense, these centers have the ability to solve problems in product and systems using nationally and internationally respected experts, centralized information management, and on-line databases and libraries that store specialized information.
Syntegra developed a cost-effective, integrated e-mail management system to connect disparate e-mail systems around the United States to one location for FAA and NOAA.
ID/IQ Contract Management Examples

  Allied Technology provides information security services under the Security Service Bureau ITOP II award, for a total contract value of $10M.

  Compuware provides client server application support to NSF under an ID/IQ for a total contract value of $8M.

  CTA developed and currently manages the GSA Advantage! System under GSA FSS for a total contract value of $62.7M.

  GRCI provides IT services to the Global Combat Support System - Army under GSA FSS for a total contract value of $30M.

  ITS provides ADP support services to US Customs under an ID/IQ contract for a total contract value of $24.4M.

  VGS provides NCUA Financial, Human Resources and Administration System Implementation to NOAA under FEDSIM for a total contract of $3.6M.
VGS supported NOAA/NCUA's integration of information management and business processes using SAP R/3 business product suite.
WorldWide Technology developed document management and workflow applications to streamline DITCO and NAVISYS business processes.



Our Team is able to staff virtually any task under Functional Area 4. We understand how to recruit and retain quality staff (our Team's retention rate is 88.38%, far exceeding the industry average of 70%). We currently have approximately 12,000 IT professionals on staff in the required labor categories for functional areas. Additionally we have nearly 10,000 contingent professionals who can be assigned to support ML tasks. Eighty-three percent of our professional staff are degreed and the remaining 17 percent have technical training and/or certifications. We are also able to use our staff depth to address transient workload fluctuations and in support of task start-ups. The Team has the depth of personnel (technical and marketing) to begin working immediately.

The Allied Technology Team will provide high quality performance at competitive prices to GSA's customers. We offer an experienced IT workforce that will deliver value and quality to the ML contract. Our Team has selected a staff of cross-trained, multi-disciplined professionals who offer quality for more than one labor category. This provides automatic backup for all task assignments.




Customers will be able to get needed support in a timely manner no matter what their location. Our Team is prepared to develop and support worldwide applications. We are geographically positioned to provide nationwide and worldwide support. We have offices in all GSA regions to support FTS's clients. We have permanent offices in almost every state and major country and corporate offices in Regions 3, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 11. In addition to being geographically positioned, we are also positioned from a management standpoint to respond to and deliver on task orders. We have procedures and systems in place to manage and perform work on a rapid response basis.
